FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), moves out on Mobile Surveillance Systems (MSS) for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Telephonics' Electronic Systems Division will be supporting the next phase in securing our nation's borders by supplying our MSS to the CBP. MSS is a fully integrated surveillance system extending the eyes of the CBP agents. Mr. Blau goes on to say: "We have supported CBP during the 18-month development phase of the MSS platform and are very proud to have been selected for this important effort."

Telephonics' Electronic Systems Division - Integrated Security Systems (ISS) group, located in Huntington, NY and Sarasota, FL is responsible for this effort. "ISS dedication to this important program has resulted in this win", states Electronic Systems Division President, Donald C. Pastor. Mr. Pastor goes on to say: "It is our mission to support CBP and all the important field agents. With MSS, we have realized that goal and we are working very closely as a team with CBP to achieve success."
