Telephonics Receives Contracts for C-17 Communication Systems

FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF), announced today that its Communication Systems Division received two contract awards from The Boeing Company for production and support of C-17 Communication Open System Architecture (COSA) Integrated Radio Management Systems (IRMS). The value of these contracts is in excess of $35M. Delivery of the first system is expected in late 2010.
