Telephonics Announces the Opening of New Facility to Accommodate the Continuing Growth of Air Traffic and Homeland Defense Business

FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), announced today the opening of a 100,000 square foot facility in Huntington, New York, that will house the Electronic Systems Division (ESD). The new facility includes an ultra-modern NextGen Air Traffic Management demonstration, development and training center. The NextGen lab will be used to continue the cutting edge development and testing of the AeroTrac NextGen product line with the advanced features and functions that are necessary to address existing and future global air traffic challenges. Over 50,000 sq-ft of the new facility is home to a state-of-the-art Systems Integration Labs, Assembly and Formal Test operations geared specifically to support our growing critical Homeland Security and Force Protection programs. Additionally, the customer support capabilities are being expanded to better serve our ever growing customer base.
